Eligibility Criteria

For admission to an engineering program (i.e. B.Tech.), the candidate must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in the 10th and 12th level examinations.
For admission to a non-engineering undergraduate program (i.e. BBA, BCA, B.Com or B.Sc.), the candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the 10th and 12th level examination.
For admission to a non-engineering postgraduate program (i.e. MBA, MCA or M.Com), the candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in graduation.

When does the admission start in CGC Jhanjeri?

The admissions commence as per notification generated by I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU). The application form is available on payment of Rs. 500 for Online Process and Rs. 1000 for Offline Process. Also, our career counsellors are available throughout the year in case you need any help in career counselling, free of cost.

What documents are required along with the Application form?

Photo or scanned copy of class 10th and 12th mark-sheets and a recent color passport size photograph for UG candidates. Graduation mark-sheets or degree certificate and a recent color passport size photograph for PG candidates.

Within how many days a form gets processed?

The form gets processed on the very same day of submission.

Where do I need to submit my documents?

The students who apply through online mode shall send a photo or scanned copy of their documents to the concerned counsellor through Email or WhatsApp. The students who apply through offline mode shall submit a photo or scanned copy of their documents to the Registrar Office on the campus.

Is an on-campus residential facility available for students?

CGC-J houses separate hostels for boys and girls each equipped with all modern amenities for boarding and other recreational activities.
